I is for Inner Glow

No, not the thing that happens when you're really happy and are just radiant...

Inner Glow is the name of a glow in the dark bead from Trollbeads (a brand of beadmaker for the non bead addicted visitors from A to Z), it was my first glow in the dark bead and I have 3 of these in total, 'cos when you're Addicted to Beads, one of each is sometimes not enough!

I love how these beads look in daylight, it's a pale green bead that looks like a snow globe that you've just shaken up in that perfect moment before it all starts to settle back to the bottom of the globe again.

When it gets dark I usually forget that I'm wearing a glow in the dark bead and it always surprises me!  The glow doesn't last that long, but it doesn't need to, the fact that it's there at all always makes me smile.

What thing/s take you by surprise and make you smile?

  1. Those are cute beads. Talking of wearing stuff that surprises you, I have, at times, forgotten what T-shirt I'm wearing - I have a few with sayings - and I have been taken by surprise when someone has reacted to my shirt ;P

  2. Aww, pretty beads :) When my kitty head butts me to say she loves me always makes me smile, and often surprises me, not always at good times ;)

    1. Hi Stephen

Thanks for popping in, they're fun but I love the way they look in daylight most!

  4. Those are cool beads! I would like to be crafty, but I'm afraid most of the things I try out aren't wearable. Thanks for stopping by my blog as part of the A to Z Challenge.

    1. Hi Jann

I'm experiencing the same issue at the moment with wonky beads, getting there though!

I love saying hi to people who've read my blog, or are just passing through via the A to Z, or anyone not a spam bot!

P.s. If you use an iPad/iPhone and are having trouble leaving a comment on Blogger, you might have better luck using a browser that's not the default iPad one... Then from the "Comment as" drop down menu choose Name/Url (you can leave URL field blank or add your web address) or Anonymous and (hopefully) away you go! Mars xx
